This page describes the trackers placed or read when the site is visited, how your choice is collected and how to change it. It completes the privacy policy and the legal notice.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device, computer, tablet or phone, by the site you are visiting, and read again on your later visits. It can keep a session open, remember a display preference, or hold your choice on trackers.
The word cookie is used here in the broad sense. The same rules apply to the other techniques for storing or reading information on a device (browser local storage, invisible pixels, identifiers built into a third-party library), whatever their technical name.
The rule is simple: a tracker strictly necessary to the operation of the site or to the delivery of a service you have requested may be placed without your agreement. Any other tracker, in particular non-exempt audience measurement, personalisation or advertising, supposes your prior consent, freely given, informed and expressed by a positive act.
The trackers used on this site
The table below describes the trackers this site actually places. It comes from a survey carried out on 31 August 2026 across the one hundred and fourteen published pages, resource by resource. It is revisited whenever an extension or a third-party service is added.
Third-party content embedded in a page would place its trackers as soon as that page is displayed, before any interaction on your part. That is why this site embeds none: the appointment scheduler opens through a link, and nothing goes to a third party until you click. Were such content ever embedded, it would be blocked until consent is given, or replaced by a clickable thumbnail.
Why this site shows you no banner
Every tracker listed above is strictly necessary to the service you asked for: serving the page in the right language, and holding the session of a logged-in editor. The law exempts them from consent. A banner asking your agreement for those would have you click without leaving you a real choice.
The day this site places a tracker subject to consent, whether an audience measurement outside the exemption, an embedded third-party content or a personalisation tool, a banner appears before anything is placed and this page is updated before that goes live. Until a choice is expressed, no tracker subject to consent is placed: an absence of answer, continued browsing or simply scrolling the page does not count as acceptance.
The CNIL recommends that refusing trackers be as simple as accepting them: where a button accepts everything in one action, a button of the same level has to refuse everything in one action, in the same place and with the same legibility. That is the rule which would apply here the day a banner becomes necessary.
Your browser settings
Independently of the above, your browser lets you manage cookies: accept them, refuse them, accept only those of the site visited, be warned before each placement, or delete those already recorded. These settings are generally under the Privacy and security or Options sections of the browser, and are specific to each browser and each device.
Two limits are worth knowing. Blocking all cookies indiscriminately can keep certain functions of the site from working, in particular access to the administration. And the browser setting acts on your device alone: it does not relieve this site of its duty to inform you, which is what this page does.
